EverGreen offers a wide selection of Business Continuity Services. Customer may choose all of the services described below, or select a subset thereof. Several of the Services are also included as part of EverGreen’s Business Continuity Managed PROTECT Service offering.
Program Management – EverGreen will provide program management functions through all phases of the program. EverGreen’s program manager will establish a status reporting schedule with Customer’s program sponsor and program team such that Customer will be kept apprised of all current events, upcoming events and issues or concerns.
Business Continuity Readiness Assessment – The Business Continuity Readiness Assessment will provide Customer with a third party objective review of the current business and technical environment relative to Customer’s Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery preparedness.
Business Impact Analysis (“BIA”) – The purpose of conducting a BIA will be to understand the business impacts associated with interruptions affecting business functions. The BIA will define RTOs (Recovery Time Objectives) and prioritize the recovery of Customer’s business units, applications, and supporting technical infrastructure. By understanding the RTOs and priority of recovery, Customer can then develop a recovery strategy that meets the needs of the business.
Technical Risk Assessment – EverGreen’s Technical Risk Assessment will provide an assessment of the risks facing Customer’s technical environment from a Business Continuity perspective. Following the identification of Customer’s risks, EverGreen will make risk mitigation recommendations such that Customer may alleviate associated risks.
Recovery Strategy Options Analysis – Based on the results of the BIA, EverGreen will conduct a Recovery Strategy Options Analysis. The purpose of this analysis will be to identify various recovery strategy options including high-level designs, ROM (Rough Order of Magnitude) pricing, pros and cons, and EverGreen’s recommendations for which strategy should be implemented based on Customer’s business requirements. The analysis will provide Customer’s management with the data to make an informed decision about which strategy is right for Customer.
Strategy Implementation Management – As an integral part of the Customer's Business Continuity and Disaster Recovery functions, EverGreen will project manage Customer’s teams during the implementation of the chosen business and technical recovery strategies.
Business Continuity Plan Development – EverGreen will assist Customer in documenting a Business Continuity Plan including recovery teams, responsibilities, recovery procedures, recovery requirements, and contact information for the recovery of business operations including IT functions and infrastructure. The Business Continuity Plan will be tailored to the recovery strategies that Customer implements or intends to implement. As part of this effort, EverGreen will provide training to team members on the plan document and how to use the document when needed.
Mitigator™ Administration – EverGreen will work as Customer’s Mitigator™ administrator for maintaining Customer’s database of Business Continuity information including BIA information, Technical Risk Assessment information, Recovery Strategy information, BCP information and Recovery Testing information.
Tabletop Exercises – EverGreen will work with Customer to develop and execute Tabletop Exercises to test both business recovery and IT recovery. The Tabletop Exercise will allow Customer to identify areas in the plan where details need to be modified or enhanced to provide a successful recovery in the event of a service interruption.
Recovery Test Management – EverGreen will work with Customer to develop and execute scheduled recovery tests that will include the recovery of business units as well as the recovery of supporting IT infrastructure. The purpose will be to test the Business Continuity Program including the execution of recovery teams and tasks as well as defined strategies. EverGreen will manage the test planning process and monitor how Customer performs during the test. Lastly, EverGreen will document a Post Test Report outlining where Customer either met or failed to meet test objectives.
Training and Awareness –Upon completion of Customer’s BCP, EverGreen will provide training and awareness workshops focused on Customer’s Business Continuity Program. The purpose of the workshops is to bring awareness to various groups whether at a business unit level or senior management level. EverGreen will work with Customer to tailor each workshop to provide the most value to Customer’s program.
Disaster Management – EverGreen will provide project management services for Customer during an actual event. EverGreen will work with Customer’s Disaster Management Teams and Disaster Recovery Coordinator to project manage the recovery. The success of Customer’s recovery will be dependent upon Customer’s dedication to a consistent testing regiment.
