Originally, we purchased EverGreen’s Mitigator Software as there was a need for a business continuity planning solution for many departments and regions to use that provided ease of use, flexibility and allowed us to adhere to regulatory requirements.

Describe its use in your organization:

The Mitigator software is fully deployed and used by each department and region to have a comprehensive business continuity plan that is centralized in the setup and oversight, but decentralized in the configuration of the needed plans. It allowed our bank to go through the needed BIA and risk assessment to properly develop and test the plans as well.

We purchased the EverGreen Mitigator 8 solution to manage its business continuity planning process. The EverGreen solution is used to continuously analyze its vulnerabilities to business disruptions and assess the impact to the viability of the organization. The EverGreen solution serves as a tool to manage our strategies for preparedness, response and recovery in the event of a business disruption.

The EverGreen Mitigator 8 solution is fully deployed. The overarching value of the EverGreen Solution is the ability to standardize our business continuity planning process and build on prior years work. Additionally, in the event of an incident, the EverGreen Solution allows for the accessibility of BC/DR plans independent of the availability of our data center systems and networks.

The benefit/value that the Evergreen solution provides us is measured in the emergency management oversight and coverage we now have across the organization. Without the Evergreen solution we could not have arrived at the current EM/BC preparedness/readiness state within our organization. The use of the Evergreen solution has transformed as well as completely streamlined our emergency management and oversight program. In addition, without this solution our organization would have continued to struggle both in time and complexity in an attempt to produce emergency plans that would help protect our organization from an event.

We see an increased usage of the product across our enterprise. The usage will begin growing over time as our EM/BC guidance and oversight scope continues to grow to include all three campus health locations throughout the world.

We purchased the EverGreen solution to serve as a framework for building enterprise business continuity plans and business impact analyses and to create a methodology for a sound Business Continuity practice.

Describe its use in your organization:

Currently, we use the EverGreen Mitigator solution to perform a Business Impact Analysis, develop recovery strategies, and prepare business continuity and disaster recovery plans which are stored in the repository along with other related files.

We have has three organizations; one company has fully utilized the product, another is halfway through implementation, and the third is beginning to come on board. Eventually, we will deploy the EverGreen solution across all organizations and integrate it with our other recovery systems.

Evergreen Mitigator has helped Business Continuity succeed as a process in our company, after several failed attempts trying to do this manually.
