This EverSafe Emergency Management Portal provides Local Governments with an interactive emergency management web site to ensure the delivery of understandable, timely, and accurate information during a crisis. The EverSafe solution is based on the requirements defined by the National Incident Management System-NIMS to allow local governments to partner with their communities, law enforcement, fire, emergency response, schools and others to develop an on-line information emergency management virtual command center. EverSafe allows for shared plan development, testing and exercises, education and training, and information sharing with the community. The plans incorporate special needs populations as well as procedures for handling pandemic diseases and influenza outbreaks.
