| This EverSafe Emergency Management Portal provides school districts with an interactive emergency management web site to ensure the delivery of understandable, timely, and accurate information during a crisis. The EverSafe solution is based on the requirements defined by the National Incident Management System-NIMS to allow schools to partner with their communities, local government, law enforcement, fire, emergency response, and others to develop an on-line information emergency management virtual command center. EverSafe allows for shared plan development, testing and exercises, education and training, and information sharing with parents, students, facility, and the rest of the community. The plans incorporate special needs populations as well as procedures for handling pandemic diseases and influenza outbreaks. |
